1.0 CRANE CONTROLS
Are These Controls in Place?
1.1 CRANE LIFT PLAN
Crane lift plan complete and signed off (includes certificates, training, loads, etc.)
1.2 PERMITS
All permits signed by all necessary personnel
1.3 CRANE INSPECTION
Crane inspection documents are complete and all issues addressed
1.4 CRANE OPERATOR
Crane operator is certified
1.5 SIGNAL PERSON
Signal person is qualified
1.6 RIGGERS
Riggers are qualified
1.7 CRANE SET-UP
Crane is safely set-up: good ground conditions, outriggers fully extended, etc.
1.8 CRANE SWING
Crane swing radius around counterbalance is danger taped or barricaded
1.9 CRANE RADIUS
Crane radius maintains safe distance from power lines (min. 20')
1.10 RIGGING
Rigging is in good working condition and marked with monthly safety color
1.11 FALL ZONE
Fall zones identified, and demarcated or have signal persons in place
1.12 SIGNAL PERSON (2)
Signal persons and/or riggers are in clear view of operator
1.13 UNDER LOAD
No worker is directly under the load
1.14 TAG LINES
Tag lines are used
